Before starting his own company, Jerry Andrews worked as a salesman in the plumbing supply industry, where he learned the business and built relationships within the trade. In 1987 he took a chance on himself and founded South Eastern Plumbing Supply in the Old Spinning Mill downtown, in a space at the back near the smokestack.
The mill remains an important part of the company's history: it is where Jerry's vision first took shape.
The store left downtown for Highway 42 West. That road is Veterans Parkway now, and the counter is still at 615 Veterans Pkwy.

President & Operations Manager
Brandon has been with the family-owned company since 1999. He got his start working summers while in school and worked his way into leadership. Today he oversees daily operations across the business, keeping up its commitment to customer service and quality products for plumbing professionals and homeowners in Johnston, Wake, Harnett and surrounding counties.
Vice President
Nancy joined SEPSI in 1999 after retiring from the State of North Carolina, where she worked in the Attorney General's Office. As Jerry's wife, she enjoys helping out around the office and warmly greeting customers and visitors when they come through the door. Her friendly personality and willingness to lend a hand make her a valued part of the SEPSI family.
Accounting Office Manager
Katie has been with South Eastern since 2017. Working in the front office, she oversees the company's accounting and manages the day-to-day financial transactions that keep operations running smoothly. With strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, Katie plays an important behind-the-scenes role supporting the company's workflow. She also enjoys stepping in to assist customers at the counter when needed.
Counter Sales
Travis has been with South Eastern since 2004. At the sales counter he works closely with customers to understand their plumbing needs and find the right products. His knowledge and commitment to service make him a go-to for contractors and homeowners alike.
Parts Counter & Warehouse
Ricky has been with South Eastern since 2005. He works the parts counter and the warehouse, where he stocks shelves, loads and unloads trucks, and coordinates deliveries. He takes pride in helping customers solve plumbing problems with quality parts, and in making sure every customer leaves with a smile.
Store mascot
Brandon's goldendoodle, Bentley, joined the team in 2020. He is roughly the size of a pony and convinced he's a lap dog. When he's in the store, he takes his job as customer greeter seriously: one wagging tail, one friendly hello, and one request for a head scratch at a time. He may not know much about plumbing, but he's an expert at making everyone feel welcome!
